Pauline says thanks for the birthday wishes, she had a great day - apart from the rain. :meh:

Another wet start today so roof up:sour: till about 2 o clock, then the rain stopped and we got a bit of sun, so roof down for the rest of the last day here in Andorra. During the last few days we have driven all of the twisty turny yellow roads, :D many of which ended at the border as a track. Pics later. Starting the trip home tomorrow…

Hi all, we're back home now. We've driven a total of 2,317 miles in our 10 days away, that is more than some forum members do in 1, no 3 years=)), used just over £300 worth of petrol at an average of 35 MPG. The best was 39.5 while pottering down the roads at 60mph, worst was 25, enjoying the twisty turny stuff in Andorra. Very pleased with the car, she didn't put a foot wrong but she's in a (very) desperate need of a good clean and polish. I'll sort out some photos and get some up later.:)

Hey mate glad you're back safe and sound. It sounds like you might have brought some better weather back with you too, hope so.:)
Ps. Was it you or Pete and I discussing what was missing from my tool tray in the boot at Newark. Either way it's 10/8 mm. double open ended spanner. I found one.

Tony, I was missing my spanner as well, so it may have been me. Another forum member got me one...

Great time of year to travel through France and Andorra is always quiet. The French roads are superb, it's like driving on a billiard table, very smooth and quiet both from a traffic point of view and road noise:). The only problem is when a French driver sees your number plate it's a challenge for them to get past at the earliest opportunity:mad:. They follow so close its unbelievable sometimes, but you get used to it.

Hi Dave and Pauline
Glad you are both back home safely, yes I've noticed that French drivers regard all English cars as potential race targets. I just ignore them now, that drives them mad.
Just a few days to go and we will be following in your tyre marks. I do hope we are able to find such beautiful scenery as those in your pictures. If I can find wi-fi I'll post up a progress thread.

Mike

Yes I ignore them as well Mike. Rather have them in front than behind me anyway. Have a great trip down to Biarritz, hope you can find wifi, you can always use McDonalds as a back stop;)

Here is the first video, it's 3.5 mins long. It's the ride down from the Arcalis Ski Station towards Elserrat. Frankie you should feel ok with this as I'm in a RHD car, driving on the right side of the road, with Pauline videoing from the passenger seat.
