Just thought those of us from the Derby,Notts,South Yorks area might like to meet at Ollerton (McDonalds) at about 11 to 11.15am to leave at 11.30 am before driving on to Torksey Lock and arriving together.
I was thinking we could take the A6075 from Ollerton through Tuxford,then the A57 before turning onto the A1133 to Torksey.
Anyone interested?

Note -apparently we need 20ps for the toll at the bridge over the river Trent.

Its a great route through Tux, some good fast roads - I use that route to go to the Peaks :)

Don't forget your 20p s ( x4 ) for the Bridge ;) have em handy to make it easier.

Is Lincoln that good Tony we have to pay to enter lol!!! I'm in Lincoln and surrounding areas tomorrow with work. Got to go to skegvagas! Might be "bag of chips for dinner day" Dont tell the boss! :D
 
Fill yer boots mate!:D Enjoy your day in yellow belly county. I'm only working till dinner as I have a diabetic eye screening appointment early in the afternoon and no driving for at least 2 hours after the eye drops. Shirl will be chauffeur.

Might drop down to see you guys, if you don't mind me parking at the back ;)

Need to check first though, and wont know until nearer the time.

Bridge is 40p each way - I generally use 2 x 20p as its the easiest, or the gent in front can just pay for the lot of you :D
 
If I slow down and pull in just before the bridge it may be because I can't find any change or that I'm just very tight with money!My wife calls me
