As the title suggests, I'm looking for an OEM chrome 5 speed gear knob for my z3... Happy to take other suggestions though

Nothing like a good knob thread
Theres a guy on Ebay based in Accrington who strips Z's. He's worth an ask. DMUS-80 user name. Got my alarm sensor from there. Also got a 5 speed leather short gear knob to replace my taller OEM chrome one (which im keeping 
) .Only upgrade i did offer spec for the car.

iv just refurbished my original gear knob, and put it back on, feels nicer than the 8ball; pool ball iv been using

Depending on your needs variety of oem knobs available
From the all leather illuminated sport knob the the wooden ones and the chrome and leather one.
Now i had a few kicking about at one point what i discovered was the the chrome and leather knob fitted to the E34 looks the same as the zed one but its heavier may be an option depending on what you are after.
For me i went with the wood veneer as my seats cream dash / door panels beige didn't like black plastic and knob didn't
