Luckily the car door opened where the side door to the garage was. All worked to plan..... more like luck
Just happy it’s now out of the weather ready for winter.
The wheels are now straight so I can just push the car forward and back if I need stuff.

Blimey it was full of erm...........stuff when I was there Saturday lol! Well it's out the weather and out the way.

I want to fit an armrest in my car, there are several types on ebay, is yours from a E46 3 series?

The armrest mod is a good idea.....are they difficult to fit???
Can you retrofit roof lining in a preface 2.8 pal
Nice and easy. Got a black leather armrest from and E46. Then shaped the support bracket that the armrest is on to fit across the cubby hole on the centre console and the section behind the hand brake gaiter.
Rough idea of cut line;
Fitted armrest after I dyed the leather
Next time I do it I’ll try and take more photos.
I used a metal bracket on the underside of the centre console to give the joint strength when screwing up through the console and into the armrest base.
