If you bath your dogs they will instinctively try to mask the smell of soap by rolling in animal poo and even animal carcases. Young adolescent dogs are the worst offenders.

My younger Daughter has two dogs at the moment, one Lab and one Lab cross who was a rescue dog. Both have kennel cough at the moment.
My young Grandson was asked about Annie the rescue dog recently and he said "yes she's a cross between a Labrador and a ferret." He meant she's a cross between a Labrador and a Whippet. Kids eh!

About time we had a decent different thread well done and for a great cause.

We both love dogs and can't be without them.

Here is Tedderik and Bel the love of our lives:

Well stop ruining it then with your pathetic smutty comments then. I've just deleted the last 3 posts due to them being in poor taste and completely irrelevant.

It's pretty simple - be respectful of others, or I'm kicking people from the thread.

There is nothing Noodle likes better than rolling in Fox poo, damn stuff stinks. She has this casual saunter up to it and before we have any idea whats about to happen she drops a shoulder and rolls. Then we have to get her home and wash her and she hates water, if its raining she flat refuses to go outside and has been known to hop on three legs to keep one dry.

Andy
I know that I'm about to roll in something stance. Fox poo is bad, but a couple of years ago, our mut found something by the local pond, must have been dropped by a heron - an half eaten/digested rancid fish. It took days and several baths to get rid if that - Yuk.

Nothing worse than a skunk spray! Tomato juice is the only thing that works and lots needed!! lol. Then there was the time our little mutt fell into our septic tank when the lid was off for some unknown reason. Joan was the lucky one who had to fish him out and clean him up!! lol JIM

I was rolling a tire across my back yard to a tire changing machine I have. The neighbor's dog had pooped on the grass and I didn't see it and rolled the tire right over it. As the treads went over it, the entire load was picked up onto the tire and as I was rolling the tire and this load was rolling up to the top of the tire, as I went to push the tire forward, I stuck my hand onto the entire load as I continues to push the tire. What a surprise!!!!!!!! Talk about YUK. MAJOR YUK. Wash and disinfect the hand. God, I don't even like to think back about it !!!!!!!!!! Frankie

Welcome to my world of vehicle testing Frankie. What with dog crap, hedgehog spines and wires sticking out the sides of tyres, it's a risky business !!;)

Tony.
