Thanks very much everybody. I've gone with Lancaster - quote was £116 which is fantastic although I did notice when the payment went through I had been charged £133 which I think was the instalment price. Hopefully that can be sorted.
Wow that’s a low price, is that an agreed value policy Steve?

I’m still with Manning until June and my premium only changed by £50 as I had a claim, I will soon find out if it’s going to be a silly increase I guess..

Wow that's crazy , my quote was for £134 for the zed , my daily drive is a 2010 Hyundai i30 Ltd edition diesel same insurer at £164
My premium is a bit higher because my 25 year old daughter insisted on being insured as well!

I am with classic line and with all modifications declared. Cheaper for me than the comparison sites.

Taking a renewal quote is a mugs game. Never do that, as you can even get it cheaper with the same company online using the comparison sites.
Yep, me to Classic Line where great to deal with, a shed load of mods and £8k agreed value £260 including UK and Euro breakdown cover as well as legal cover

No, I didn't go for an agreed value Dino - I didn't have that with Mannings actually. I currently have two cars and two bikes all on separate policies so am really looking to keep costs down!

I have used Classicline for the last 3 years at same price. Total price may be slightly higher than some others but the package includes a lot, as @Sean d has noted. Breakdown cover is a big bonus, not that I am expecting to use it, but most mainstream breakdown providers will not touch a 20 year old car.
The policy also will cover track use at pre-approved MSA organised events and this alone is worth more than the cost of the policy.

Well Manning brokers have confirmed that the policy I had is no longer being offered by the insurer (MS Amlin) as they are moving out of this sector apparently.

I was very happy with MS AMLIN as they were excellent in a claim situation and they did agreed value along with salvage rights if the worst happened.

Will have to shop around now, this thread will come in handy.

I did ask manning to quote me a similar policy and the price from their new insurer is over 800 (I only paid around 350-400 before!)
I’ve learnt that with insurance price isn’t what you should look at alone to decide but I’m not paying double!!

I don't think Mannings are going to do much business in this sector with that underwriter.
