Hoogys 2.8

When I did the ones off my Z3 I used the wire wheel on my bench grinder. It removed the loose stuff and smoothed the rest, but be warned, wear a dust mask or you'll be coughing up rust for a week.

Cadbury's Dairy Milk.:)

Took the rear calipers off today for cleaning and paint so I thought I'd fit the front calipers while I was at it.
The brackets on the car I couldn't get off so I just had to spray them in position.

Quite like that pal but I recon your shocks are well and truly ready for a change :)

Today i finished fitting the brake calipers and bleeding the brakes.
While the wheels were off i decided to have a look to see what those A.C.Schnitzer wheels look like on my car, so here it is...

Can also see the Z3M mirrors fitted, and my new roof!

So shallow and desperate of you fitting M mirrors on a 2.8. I’d never be caught dead doing that. Not me ;)

Gotta love the look of the shape even if you can see less out of them than the square ones!

Wheels look really nice. Car is looking sleek with that new roof..need to save some pennies I think..

Visibility is very poor, but the style is much better than standard.
The wheels i really like, which i wasnt expecting. They show off the calipers better, but they will need a refurb if i keep them.

I personally prefer the wheels you already have. Black looks good but they are also "less busy":)

For whatever it is worth I really like the ACs on it. The black are very cool but the silver sets the car off even better. Classy look.

Thanks, im going to live with them for a few month then change back and see how i feel. i have a probable buyer for either so doesnt make much difference to me.

Bright wheels look ten times better than dark ones Davey. Save up and refurb them mate

I learned a trick with these from a US forum - when on the motorway adjust them outwards so you don’t see the rear wings of your car (I usually like to see where the car ends) but doing this removes quite a big blind spot.
You only need to do this when passing AUDIS on your way across to the BMW lane. After that no need to look back until your exit anyway :)

When parallel parking using the car behind as guide to how close you are the curb helps - I can never get these down enough to see so usually endi about a mile from the curb anyway, can’t afford any more refurbs!

Car looks great mate, the ACS with Hard Top on is my vote, the clear indicators and Z3M wing mirrors, along with clear rear lights modernises immensely.
