Hi everyone, I’ve got a few questions for some imminent work on the Z3 but thought I’d make a quick intro first.
My girlfriend and I have his and hers Zs. Mine is a Z4M coupe and hers a ‘00 Z3 2.0. Not the most practical pairing but we figured there’s no point in driving boring cars! I’ve had mine about 9 years and hers for about 5-6 and neither of us have any desire to change.
The Z3 usually wears some style 42 splits which look infinitely better than the underwhelming standard wheels, but it’s otherwise standard.
The difference between the two is obviously significant, however, the Z3 feels decades older than the 7 year age gap might suggest.
I’d like to get the Z3 driving a bit more precisely and tighten it up somewhat as it’s feeling it’s age and miles now (220k km I think) so prepare for an onslaught of suspension, bushing and steering related questions!
