My beautiful Rover 75 =)) is getting close to going for test. The headlamps were really yellow and I think would probably have failed so set to with a cloth and t-cut. It didn't do a deal so time for something a bit more up to the Job. @Mint very kindly bought with him the remains of a 3M kit he'd used on his zed when he called at Grumpy towers a couple of weeks back.
I got an early finish today and as the weather was nice set to. As those that know me well will tell you, I'm always up for having a go but don't always come out with the best results!! :D. I am however happy with the end result considering how bad they were.
Would I do the Zed? Not a bloody chance lol!

Great transformation, a well deserved beer waiting too :)

Wow they almost look new now.
It's amazing @Lee, me being let loose with a drill and actually getting a decent result! Was quite scared tho as my drill speed setting no longer works so was having to do it by pressure on the switch which sometimes went a little awol! I wouldn't dare don't he Zed. I have caught the bumper just below the right hand lamp but doesn't matter on the old pipe smoker!

No chance of that happening mate. Decisions been made. It has to go!

You know if it was a 2.5 V6 Auto I'd probably keep it. Just don't like the 1.8 manual bit! Going to get another BM. If Jue gets rid of the Kia we may well have 3! Could be worse I suppose! :D

Reading this post I've done absolutely zero with the old pipe smoker since August 5th and as I want to take the zed off the road at the end of next month thought I'd better crack on. Got an early finish today so I've got of me ass and been to get the tyres done and the tracking sorted. I decided to go for a top end tyre at £41.12 per corner fitted =)). Going to take it for test next week to see how good a quality Rover really are! I expect it to pass with flying colours having only covered 132000 miles! :D

Good luck mate, hope all goes well. Pics of you in a smoking jacket and creveat please :)

Taken the old pipe smoker for MOT this morning and it's passed with a couple of advisories. Handbrake not great, couple of brake pipes and bit of sill corrosion on one side. Made my bloody day after the crap were having with Jues car at the moment. :)

Was the dirt on the inside or outside of the headlight @Grumpy :p
My left headlamp isn't very good :(
Moisture is getting into it ;)
We're tried various things but nothing seams to work :(
Yours look great ;)
