Hello All,
I have now got a replacement for my very special S54 Z3M Roadster, and no, it’s not another Z3M!
A few of you will of seen and coveted the car at Beaulieu, BMW HQ and a few other places over the last few years, so you will know what a great and rare car this is. For those of you that do not know: Of the 73 right hand drive S54 M Roadsters produced globally (only 4 in Imola), this is the very last one off the production line. The S54 Z3M is a very rare car in its own right, but as this is the last of the production line, it makes it that little bit more special.
Its currently just on 58100 miles, but this may rise very slightly as I move it around. The service history is BMW main dealer in the first half of its life and BMW Specialist for the remainder (mainly Grosvenor BMW whilst under my care). During the nearly four years that I have owned it, I had the clutch delay valve replaced, clutch master cylinder, alternator and a couple of weeks ago I put two new front tyres on so that they had the same tread pattern as the rears (even though the old fronts had 5mm of tread). The car also has four green bars on the service indicator, from memory the car has done less than 500 miles since its last service at Grosvenor ( I will double check this). Except for the Clutch delay valve thing, the car is all original and unmodified as far as I know. This is reflected by the fact that you voted it the best OEM and Best in show at Beaulieu last year!
Almost forgot, I also had the local BMW dealer change the brake fluid the other week. Whilst it was with them I asked them to give it the once over and it came back with no observations or reported problems.
I also noticed that the rear top mounts are starting to get a bit tired, so I’ll get these replaced ready for the next owner. ( If this is something the new owner wanted to address themselves, I could knock a few quid off to cover this.)
I have a load more information that I can share/discuss with anyone if they are seriously interested.
Now for the financial stuff. The car is currently with a dealer in Reading, who will be brokering the car for me. Once I give them the go ahead, this will be on their forecourt for £35,000+. However I wanted to give you chaps the chance to buy it from me for the figure that the broker has agreed to: £30,000.
You never know, this car may even give the lucky new owner the chance to win a few trophies at Beaulieu this year!!
Don’t hesitate to ask any questions.
Regards,
Renaud (AKA: Neil).
