Getting interest for Z3/Z4 only Track Day in 2016

Hi,

I been in contact with Blyton Park, an small track, ideal for novices -with plenty of runn offs.

They have offered the tack for the day for £2,000 for an small club meet - base on only 4 cars on track at any time.

No dates, yet - just trying to get numbers ideally need to get over 20.

Is that the track south of Gainsborough, if so would be interested.
 
It's just north of Gainsborough Paul. Between Gainsborough and Scotter. @Twin Turbo who did you contact about the track hire?

Been wanting to do a track day since i got my zed :whistle:
Can't do March next year as it's a busy month for us, but quite flexible apart from that.
 
Will be near by tomorrow for the Vulcan flypast

Hi Quinton,

There are a number of options from a small day in the week where we allow 4 cars on track at a time …to a full blown Club Weekend with Open Pit lane and loads of cars. The former start at around £1500 plus VAT and the latter at over 10K plus VAT.

Update for everyone - I will not be pursuing an private club event - as Stacy has provided me an quote for car insurance and to give unlimited track day via approved operators. This means that this event will not be covered unless we piggy back onto an organised event.

I would like to say that Stacy insurance quote is comparable to my current provider Esure - and includes unlimited track days. And when you look at the cost of insurance for an single track day is £150 - this means I can enjoy more events.
 
Perhaps we could try and get on the back of the BMWCC better driving day usually held at Cadwell Park, number are low and it is full of people with little or no track experiance. @Mint did this earlier this year and really enjoyed it. Just a thought?
 
@Twin Turbo there are a few of us Zedders that I insure one being me that also have the Track day cover provided :thumbsup:
 
Join the BMWCC (if not already a member) four/five trackdays per year can still have a group meet within the Z community
These are very well organised with free tuition if wanted plus proper race circuits.
Cadwell, Oulton Park, Donnington etc.
Costs between £150 and £200 dependent on circuit. Lots of track time with open pit lane, plus can be an enjoyable day for anyone wanting to just come and be part of the atmosphere without taking their pride and joy on track
 
Is it because we are hiring the track that we'd need trackday insurance?
If it was an trackday event company then the insurance would be in with the price of the event?
