HI Everyone, Stroke of luck, Kate's friend, Rosie is coming over to see her on Sunday. so Kate's has told me that she wants me to go out with Dad, as she will be okay with Rosie, I think as younger peeps. they would rather be on their own anyway!!! they can watch what they want to on the TV too.:D

Hoping her Gall Bladder removal operation goes alright tomorrow, Mark is bringing her over to Heacham as soon as they discharge her!:arghh:

Good luck to your daughter with the op M and S. Had mine out in May. Best thing they ever did. Feel so much better for it. If it's keyhole she'll be fine although there will be a couple of days of discomfort afterwards in the shoulders from them pumping the gas in. I was up and about in no time after the op.

Glad to hear everything looks good!! It's a real worry for parents no matter at what age the kids are sick and especially where surgery is needed. Have a safe recovery all!! JIM

Excellent news Mike. Was it keyhole or open surgery? It sounds like they found Kate's early enough not to have the complications I had. Please pass on mine and Jues best wishes.

Thank you all for your concern. Kate is home with us tonight for a weeks convalescing, that means being waited on hand and foot. Yes Dave she did have keyhole surgery, at least one bit of luck there. She has been ill for some time, since early May, even though the gallbladder kept getting infected, Addenbrookes weren't going to take it out until after Xmas, but then they bought the op forward to Nov 19th and after Kate rang them, sobbing and feeling terrible, they finally decided to operate today, with a months recuperation. We are so glad it is all over, now she can get on with her life!!!
 
We hope the future gets better for Kate, M&S. All our best wishes for you all.
