Finding the perfect balance... My 2.8 Widebody build

Cars are a very subjective area. What someone may love, another may loathe. If you do things for yourself, and not to please others you will never go far wrong.

Just my 2 pence!
Absolutely right mate!

Started putting bits back on this afternoon. Looking good so far

Have you painted under the bonnet etc as well @M20bwp?

Hello and :welcome:. Nice colour choice .

I'm very envious! Thats my favorite colour :D

Dedicated today to building the car back up, so that I could drive it to work in the morning.
Very happy with how it's turned out. Had some late nights but they've certainly been worth it.
I absolutely adore the colour, I was a bit sceptical but it was my first and only choice!
Got a couple of shots of the finished product, only some iPhone pictures for now. got some proper photos being edited currently.

Wow!

Now I see why you want to go low, your mates are properly slammed!

Think I'm just going to up a tyre size when the new wheels land in the UK. Most of the big jobs are now out of the way!

love the colour and love the wheels.

love the idea of a workshop with a sofa!

I must confess I'm not a lover of slamming and stretching, but then again, my dad thought I was crazy when, as a youth, fitted a Mountney steering wheel, bucket seats and Rostyles to a mk2 escort van!

Good work, keep it up and enjoy.

Bloody hell you don't hang about! Car looks great and very individual, excellent work mate, well done.

I am usually not a fan of Z3 mods but you recovered this one very nicely, I like the combination between color, interiors and wheel hubs so '90. Moreover I approve that you sticked with OEM headlights and not the Z4-wannabe chinese ones.

Thankyou very much for the kind words! The wheels were actually produced in 1994. Slightly before the Z's time, but I think they work well. I may change them up over the coming weeks, but for now I'm happy with the progress that I have made :)
