145 in my old xr4 untill my mate reminded me he had wife and kids to go home to but he wanted to get back for last orders, a tad 
faster on a genesis but I was a 21 year old hot head then. My M is the fastest car I've owned but not been above 130 due to crappy tyres but need all the suspension/ bushes and a track to do it safely.

I would say my new 3.0 it probably the fastest/quickest car I've had ,not had it anywhere near flat out but it's looking good!

That's another reason why it is better to live on the mainland: it's closer to the unlimited autobahn of Germany.
Love the 335d ,I'd have one but it doesn't fly too well!i suppose it flys ok it's the landings that it has problems with lolI took the M up too 162mph indicated on the nav. Been a little quicker on a bike. Driven a couple of new Nissan GT-Rs and a Ferrari Scuderia but not in anger.
On a more daily use this 335D I'm driving is pushing 400bhp with 500 pounds of torque gary will confirm this

Especially those three cylinder special editions have such an unlimited rev range.

the fastest thing i have been in charge of was my CBR 1100xx superblackbird.
when i gave up bikes (after some young car driver tried to kill me) i bought an Impreza and that is currently pushing 300hp (0-60 timed at 4.7 seconds) but the fastest car i have driven is my mates R33 skyline which is currently at 450hp. it is a bit slower to 60 due to lag but when the turbos come in it's like being sat in a missile.

McLaren 650 spyder
When i was at goodwood (festival of speed) in June, i was amassed by the number of mclarens driving around it the uk.
Half of the cars in the performance parking were mclarens.
After some time i cought myself saying "oh another mclaren"... but they are just so nice.
Speed on straight roads doesn't attract me at all, but cornering and twisty roads...that's for I'm living!
Back in the late 70's my buddy and I built a drag van early style chev with a 500 ci chev motor that would wheel stand half way down the strip and ran just under 150mph in the quarter. Also had a 74 GMC shorty van that was also a wheel stander but only had a 350 ci motor that we flat towed the other van with. JIM
