That penalty for Lando was bang out of order. The new race director needs pulling in for not clearing that debris immediately. That aside , good race 🏁
I thought a lot of those penalties were utter rubbish! Including Vestappen's 1-place for Qualy. Stewards were shocking

Yellow flag is a yellow flag, so a penalty was in order, but that was just stupid. Are the penalties at the discretion of the race director, or are they actually listed somewhere?

And yes, that debris should have been cleared. You'd think it wouldn't be that difficult, would you?

That aside, entertaining race and I'm as happy with the results. Even got 1 prediction right!

The Penalties are handed out by the Stewards taken out of a Rule Book, each 'foul' so to speak has a designated penalty. Agreed, a VSC could've cured the issue a few laps earlier.

No excuse 😂, Have you not heard of playing with your phone whilst driving? It's a thing you know, well it certainly is in every bloody vehicle when I'm sat looking down at them from my cab.
No, wouldnt ever do that its dangerous, plus I can't work on my laptop, drive and use the phone.

Just seen this analysis of the data around Lando's penalty.

I dream of a race that doesn't end up with controversial decisions by stewards or race directors.

They are indeed. I probably didn't explain myself correctly. I think for such a small error a 10 second start stop penalty is ridiculous. A 5 second penalty added on at that end would have been spot on.

Especially as he lost places whilst correcting it, a degree of common sense is required.

I predicted earlier, in the real world, not some fantasy world of the inter web:

Lewis Hamilton wil drive a Mercedes F1 car for the last time in a Grand Prix.✅
Carlos Sainz will drive a Ferrari F1 car for the last time in a Grand Prix. ✅
Whinger Spice and Max Vercrashen will whine all the way home. ✅
McLaren will win the constructors. ✅

so wot have I won?

Big thank you to Max today, Oscar was one of my team drivers. :(.

But, a fun year and like Lando said "next year is my year!"

DOUBLE WORLD CHAMPION BABY! 🏆

I'd like to thank my family, my wife, my children and my Dad for always believing in me. I'd like to thank my team, Bwoah Racing, for giving me the best machinery. But most of all, I'd like to thank you lot for not getting better results 😂

See you all next season!

As a serial "bottom of the league" very happy with my 6th place but as Smiffy said, would have maintained my 5th place if it wasn't for Verstaphen in his bumper car
