Tbh , your out of order with that comment,
It was Billz who did the searching, found the hotel and booked us in 1st, then more booked in after, then he posted up advising there were still rooms available for other, so I think he's fully entitled to post up his comments.
At least it is on topic an not like all the other Facebook type ramblings on this forum,

OK Guys, I agree out of order and I'm very sorry to upset you. Beers on me when we get together. I posted a bit too quick when I was confused thinking we were all going to have to change hotels.
I hope we can we still be friends though. Sorry again.:(:(

Bit of a nuisance that Billz and unfair of the Hotel to cancel your booking and then ask for more money!! So they had the room
obviously still available.
I don't like that so I have now cancelled our room too and booked the same as you and Moz. De La Frontiere.

Were we the only three bookings that reserved in there?
 
Just read through the history of our hotel bookings and I think that a few had reserved the Residentie Slanaeken its the one
that had the balconies! Still don't understand how they could cancel a booking like that and then ask for an additional £50.:mad:

Oh well we will be in the De La Frontiere now so they can stuff their balcony.:whistle:
 
No Brian the room had gone as soon as i got the notification. So it was cancelled and booked by someone else within 10 Minutes. The next room available was the 3 bed room at a rate of £199 instead of the original rate of £144

Still you could have shared the 3 bedroom rate between you and Moz! with three of you in the double bed and Mrs Moz could have had the single bed then.:whistle: =))

I don't suppose the De La Frontiere is far from the other is it Bill? Have you had confirmation of your booking this time?
 
I had confirmation last time Brian but did not seem to make any difference. Yes it is just down the road. I dont know who is at fault whether the Hotel or Booking.com. I have asked the question to Booking.com to look into this. I know i did not inadvertently do it as i was out at the time.
 
Never mind all sorted now!:thumbsup: Hope they don't get back to you and offer you the room I just cancelled.:(
 
Bit wrong all this! Why do people have to pull stunts like that. Good on you Brian for sticking with the others. The hotel may regret there move now.
 
A bed is a bed and a beer is a beer so long as the bed is comfy and the beer is cold all will be well. I did make sure that they had a bar :thumbsup::thumbsup:
 
All i can say is just keep an eye on your booking Dave as you and a couple of others are in that hotel also, i was going to book the 3 bed room but thought why should i so found the other one just down the road.

Well if they decide to play around with out bookings they might find we all move on mass. That might make them think.

Thank you for the update, I was under the impression you entered into a contact with booking.com as soon as you hit the book button to reserve the room?
