Firstly may I thank all of you for your kind words and comments, I never thought for 1 minute it would have raised so much support and likes.

So here it is part 2 of Ellies restoration.

Winter came and went and many hours spent in the garage piecing Ellie back together. More parts arrived from all over and like a kid with a new toy they were all cleaned fitted and tested. Eventually all started to take shape, the wheels came back from the refurbishers. They were fitted and looked like an expensive pair of Christian Louboutin shoes and what a difference they made to the look of Ellie.

Before the wheels went back I looked at what had happened to this once pile of rust and gave myself a little pat on the back as to what I had created. I know I should not show you Ellies back end as that's what ladies don't like but I can not resist so steady yourselves gents cos here they are!!

More and more pieces went back together and again what a delight to see the transformation. The front end completely rebuilt and reinstalled.

Finally the day came when the sun came out and Ellie was now ready to take a bow...Ladies and gents I give you Ellie, the Z3 that came from rags to riches..

Hope you all approve of what was done and the colour change to Ellie. Look forward to meeting some of you this year at events. Take care and enjoy!!

Supurb work and that pat on the back was very well deserved.
Looks great in all aspects and you now have a perfect zed for the summer months.
Top work well done

Top job ! Well done that man :)

The hard work you have put in really shows, the results are excellent. One question, why do you have a single tailpipe exhaust?

Mike

Some excellent work and attention to detail in your approach - the colour is first class too! Happy zedding!

Hi Mike. The tail pipe was all I could afford at the time. Maybe I will change it in the future. Thanks for your kind comments

Great job Dave, another Zed back on the road:thumbsup:
