Sorry to say that @Macca and myself won't make it this year. For those who don't know, I am having chemotherapy treatment for Ovarian cancer. Chemo was on Monday and I know that I will be totally wiped out on Sunday. Hope you all have a great time and the weather is kind to you. See you all soon.

Take care Mary I'm sure there will be many more events when we will all get together. Looks like it may be cold on Sunday brrrrr :D

I'm still upbeat most of the time @Grumpy but the first weekend after chemo knocks me for six. Will start to feel better next week.
 
Well good on ya Mary, a friend of mines wife has cancer and her chemo is stalled at the moment but she felt exactly the same a few days after. Hope your feeling better soon. X
 
Hope you feel better soon, will miss you both. Mary and Young Whistler too, Ol' Whistler will have to wet his whistle double time!!!!

Anyone coming past Stevenage on their way to Duxford, or up the A10 through Ware, what sort of time?
i'm looking to leave 07.30 ish but could be persuaded to make it earlier if theres a convoy on it's way.
 
Will be coming from Broxbourne using the A10 so circa 7.30 ish am passing Ware Stevenage area turn offs I guess.
 
Hello quick question. The museum shuts at 6pm but do all the cars have to wait until closing until they can leave?

No you can leave before. Much depends on the weather as some have been known to leave 2ish.
 
Ah that's not so bad then. I have to be home for 8ish and I worked a couple of events there but not a car show. I know they like to have visitors cleared before letting cars etc drive out. I thought we might be there till 6.30pm. Cannot wait!

Is everyone packed ready to go, we are meeting at the John Barleycorn from 8am onwards, leaving for Duxford at 9.30 to arrive in the queue at 9.45 to be in place by 10am.:)

Weather doesn't look too bad, (We have had glorious sun ALL day in Heacham, so perhaps there will be some left over for tomorrow!!):cool:

Don't forget your goodies and your Mugs & Chairs and we will see you all at the JB in the morning!!:thumbsup:

looks like we will have to go direct to IWM.

If we arrive at a different time to the rest of you, do the organisers direct us? do we have a "pitch" number? or are we all under zroadsters? never done this before, just envisaging a free for all.:confused:
