Took a look and wished I hadn't :arghh: Anyway, getting there with one side done (ish), much much better than it was. Lots of elbow grease and paint restorer followed by AG SRP and Extra Gloss Protection. Therapeutic too :D

Andy thats terrible letting your doors get that bad =)):ymdevil:

Is that what you call dirty Andy? I'll show you a photo of our Polly, a 1.4 VW Polo that we use to take our Fred to the woods. You'll need a lie down in a darkened room after though and possibly even some therapy =))

Is that a rubber fitting on the bottom of the door (first pic)? If so, what does it do?

Silly me then, must be seeing things that aren't there. Perhaps it was because of the dirty door or (more likely) the 20 year old port I had yesterday!:)

It is an not a scooby :wideyed:

Edit: I think it's to gain access to latch the door mechanism when refiting

So my eyes are not deceiving me then, that is good to know, thank you!! Does anyone else have such, my car doesn't?

There is one on the Z4 door and I haven’t found a way to remove them without destroying them. They are incredibly inflexible.

Tony.

Don’t rush him Steve, he’s getting another Port. . . . . =))

Tony.
