Took a look and wished I hadn't Anyway, getting there with one side done (ish), much much better than it was. Lots of elbow grease and paint restorer followed by AG SRP and Extra Gloss Protection. Therapeutic too

Silly me then, must be seeing things that aren't there. Perhaps it was because of the dirty door or (more likely) the 20 year old port I had yesterday!

Edit: I think it's to gain access to latch the door mechanism when refiting

I think it's the grommet on the top pic mate, at the top of the door.

There is one on the Z4 door and I haven’t found a way to remove them without destroying them. They are incredibly inflexible.

The C-in-C is having a clear-out, the Off-spring darn't sit still less they get bagged up, I hid in the garage and had some therapy
