Shirl's Eos lives outside all year round, as did the previous one. Can't see a problem leaving an E89 out just the same. If I have something in the garage over night my Z4 stays out too.

If it is genuinely a really good quality full car cover that will last for 5+ years, then i think even at £320 for a quality cover is a solid investment. Hard to spend that sort of money on something that doesn't make it go faster or handle better.

I have a tailored cover for my Z3. Currently it is at my mum's under a mostly watertight carport.
She is about to get her garage roof repaired so it may end up in there for the winter.

IMO outdoor covers cause more problems than they solve; condensation, scratching, hassle of removing and so on. If the hood is good and properly fitted, it will be watertight.:)
