I think I'll just leave it then, I can use an app on the phone which will pick up most stations anyway and it will play though Bluetooth or USB. Thanks for the replies
Planet Rock is mono on DAB and stereo on download.I’ve listened to Planet Rock since they started and put a Dab unit in my other car with a window fix aerial like mobile phones use, all worked very well then 18 months later they stopped transmission in the southwest! complained to Planet Rock and they just said you can listen on the internet?!
So both my Pure home and car units are scrap, as has been said all the other stations are c**p
The sharks fin is probably doing phone and gps too. So many active devices in a small area is never a good idea. Unless extremely well designed to improve rejection of other frequencies they’re never going to perform brilliantly. A separate antenna of the correct wavelength will always work better.I fitted a screen mount DAB antenna, fitted on the passenger side and I never even notice it now.
The reception is excellent and I get less drop out round here than I get with the DAB on my Mercedes C200 with a sharks fin antenna.
I also fitted a sharks fin from Dabonwheels on my MGB and the screen mount is at least as good reception.
I think the important thing is to make sure you have a really good earth as long as you do that the reception superb.
