da polishers

Judging by the tone of this thread, I will expect to see a lot of RAT ZEDS and one RAT ROVER this summer!!! :D :-ss

Weather quite good today so washed caar & got the das6 polisher out ,did the whole car cut,polished & waxed, no pics as was starting to get dark. pleased with the results :D
 
sounds like you had a full day pete.
did it make life easier?

yes was easier but did lift polisher off car while still going which did cover my other car with loads of spots :ymblushing:
 
had a full day with the da and some of the meguiares polishes and waxes.
here are the results :D have noticed the metallic starting to shine back though again :D

might get the cover off Bessie if the suns out tomorrow , ball & chain had me decorating today :( . tomorrow should be zedding day :D

Finally bought a Kestral Daz6 Pro Polisher, It arrived today. Couldn't wait to get it out of the box. As soon as it was assembled, went into the garage and started mopping Monty. Two hours later there is polish covering everything and the damn scratch in Monty's bonnet is still visible. I think perhaps I need to get Mark over here and borrow some of his courser cutting compound, either that, or go back to the paint shop next door and borrow some of theirs. Decided to have a shower now, to get rid of the compound that is still covering me. Pics to follow in a couple of weeks, when I've finished.

hi mike silly question i know:rolleyes: can you feel the scratch with your finger nail ?
try a bottle of megs scratch x i had a scratch on our vw roof gave it the scratch x treatment with hand pad and its greatly reduced it:)
any questions shout up

I used Meguires 105 which I thought was very abrasive.

just spent a few hours on the zed with a bottle of megs #7 show car glaze and the da:D:D:Dmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
will post some pics tomorrow after the wax has been put on
