If there are any others interested in joining us then please let me know as soon as possible - time is running out & we have to give he organisers a rough idea of how many are coming - meeting time & location are shown on the first posting. We have a mix of BMWCC cars attending so a few more Zeds would be nice!

Just read this. I think the biggest problem is where your located. It's a bit out on a limb and difficult to get to for many. As @Paul Rice has said he posts a few BMWCC stand meets and gets a small handful on most occasions.
I have noticed a change in trend since I've been on here. My second meet was Newby hall and had a turn out of 30 odd zeds on the day. I think Newby drew around half a dozen this year. People seem to prefer the cruises over the standing meets nowadays.
I went to a local car show 2 weeks ago that Paul had posted up and we are smack in the Midlands so much more accessible and it drew 7 zeds! A poor turnout for sure!
Dont be personally offended it's just how it seems to have gone now.
Events are becoming bigger and bigger, weekend runs instead of a day, there is even a run abroad organised now every year. Dont be disheartened Richard, it certainly won't be personal.

I totally agree with you in that some would prefer a run out & a visit somewhere instead of a static display. Having said that we in BMWCC Norfolk/ Suffolk have made a point this year of selecting classic car events that have other things going on as well - rather than just a field full of cars.
However, Corton is a static car display which we attended for the first time last year & we had interest from members to do it again this year & seeing past posts from a few Zorgers who commented on last years event, I just thought I'd ask the question whether anyone wanted to join us. Simple as that!

agree with all the above, Corton/Lowestoft is right out on a limb and also has pretty mediocre roads to it as well. This event is 2 miles away from my home so it would be rude for me not to turn up!
It also doesn't help that half of our catchment area is water, nobody drives west to Corton!
