Hi all

Anyone interested in joining us ??
We in the BMWCC are getting together a group to go again to this years Corton Classic car show,(near Lowestoft) on Sunday 21st May - It's free to participate but a donation to GOSH on the day would be appreciated.
The plan is to meet in Tesco's car park near Pleasurewood Hills Theme park & travel the 2/3 miles to Corton together.
The show's a bit of a 'free for all' but if we let the organisers know beforehand that we'll be in a group hopefully they'll give us a space to park up together.

Meeting time: We'll be at Tesco's at about 09.00/09.15 - depart 09.30 for short drive to Corton.

Please post up your name if you can make it. Ta :)

Ok, perhaps someone can tell me what I've done wrong here? Have I mentioned a dirty word & upset everybody by mentioning BMWCC as theres been absolutely no responses to this thread whatsoever - or perhaps simply no one is interested? I don't know? Ho-hum perhaps it's just me then?
However, I think it's a bit strange as there was quite a bit of interest after last years event in going to it this year. See May 2016 postings.

Anyway, please Mr Administrator can you delete this thread as I don't want to be associated with the posting anymore - I'm still going to the event with the BMWCC, therefore I'll leave it up to anyone else if they want to bother with it. (Feeling a bit p****d off :( moan over!)

Hi Richard
I have posted several times for events where we have shared with BMWCC all well supported by the Zed's.
This event clashes with the Peaks run with over 40 cars attending so could be this that's having an effect?
Don't let this put you off posting, its sometimes just clashes with other events that reduces interest, for example this years Doncaster Show clashes with Santa Pod which will no doubt have an effect on Z attendance.

Also our meet at Torksey Lock in September usually clashes with something. This year I've put it on the same day as the Scampton Air Show on purpose so hopefully we get to see something as we're fairly close.
Don't take offence Richard, keep on posting!

Tony.

Don't get too downhearted Richard. Gone are the days when there was only one event to attend in a month let alone a weekend. You only have to look at the forthcoming events to see what this forum is up to let alone the BMWCC. Peeps now have to choose what events to go to.
Keep posting them up all the same;)

looks like the karate club will have the fund raising stall there, so I'll go in the zed, park up then go help set up the stall and then spend all day floating between the stall and the cars!

Can I refer you to a thread I posted Feb 20th about this event - so far there's been no interest! :(
I'd not seen your previous, would gladly have bumped it back into view. We are a little short on owners in the far east and sadly, Corton doesn't even have the naturist beach to entice people here anymore either!

I have just read your original thread and if the mods would like to merge them please do.
