Colour change seats

i see a few of you have re coloured your seats to a very good standard , my question is can you dye a black seat to tan. I'm considering changing my seats to sports seats but most seem to be black and my interior is tan anybody done this with good results ?

Black will dye down to tan not done this on a seat but have done it on my gaiters. My seats where already tan i used a lighter one and a darker one both covered ok

I see no reason why you couldn't go to sand or beige from black with enough coats. @spurs fan in a coupe is selling a couple of sets ripe for referb.

I put the wooden kit in. First job I did when I bought it. It was all black plastic so I wanted to loose some of that. Personal choice, doesn't suit everyone but I like it.
