I knew I had the pictures somewhere! Beware non-Zed content below... (well it's made by BMW, so it's kind of OK!)

Wolf's Brake Duster.

Before, during and after pictures. Spray on, left 30 minutes, rinsed of with sponge and water! Not 100% clean, but a 1000% better than when I started.

It's dissolving the iron deposits from that contaminate the wheels. Make it looks like the wheels are bleeding!

It's perfectly normal and safe

Hot soapy water, coat of polish and coats of wax,

They will be so easy to clean every time.

You shouldn't use hot water on your car as it will strip the wax off. A specialist wheel cleaner such as Billberry is best or if you can find an Autosmart dealer near you, they sell several types of wheel cleaner, both acidic and non acidic, in 5 litre quantities at reasonable prices;

I'm going to try Smart Wheels when I run out of my current cleaner. I've read some positive comments on detailing websites and at £15 - £16 for 5 litres, it isn't going to break the bank.

+1 for the Bilberry, bought a litre from ebay and tried it out a couple of weekends ago and was very happy with the results. The good thing about this stuff is you can dilute it, I watered some down 50:50 in a spray bottle and used a brush to agitate it, then washed off with a hose, my wheels have never been cleaner, even Mrs. Wonderloaf was impressed...so impressed I had to clean her alloys as well

I think the 50:50 mix was still a bit too strong as my wheels never get that dirty, so am going to try 30:70 mix next time. A litre of Bilberry costs less than a litre of AG wheel cleaner (my last wheel cleaner) and because you can dilute it should last longer! :-bd
Also it smells nice!
