The show has run its course. There's too much crap on it which takes away from the interesting aspects of car comparisons etc! Clarkson needs his wings clipped, but if he does leave or get the sack, ITV might save him!

Not defending the bloke as he is in the public eye.
Working in the oil & gas biz, if you have a big mouth, you can expect to get lumped sometimes and it just gets laughed off afterwards.
If someone wants to be part of the PC Brigade and reports it, they are no longer considered part of the team.

Just said on the radio an online petition has 400,000 signstures, but if there was one voting for him to get the boot it would be many,many times more than the one supporting him. He is an arrogant arsehole. Ditto the dwarf and sad to say James May is heading that way too.

I, like a lot of others, I suspect don't hate the guy Jim, I've just grown tired of him and the show it needs a fresh approach somehow. Even all the road trips are same old, same old. Just boring.

I have to admit that the idea to buy a two seater convertible and start seeing Europe's most amazing roads (and places) , came to me after the Stelvio episode...

Sorry to have to agree with the majority of comments posted especially the one included in my reply by M, my sentiments exactly!
If the allegations are correct, if you or I punched or assaulted anyone at work either being a direct employee or a contractor it would be instant dismissal. So why should this idiot be treated any differently? just because he's a brand or a money spinner for the Beep should make no difference.
I have gone off the show some years back as it has to find the most stupid themes or ridiculous things to do to get ratings.
Plus they seem to put down most car manufacturers as total crap unless its a Porsche, Merc, Jaguar, Aston Martin or Ferrari and it has to have a price tag over 100k, they talk as if you can't afford one of these super cars then everything else on the road is Sh*te.
If they had salaries like every one else in the country then they may appreciate that when buying a new car from your local Ford or Nissan dealer is a major milestone in someone's life, plus it becomes their pride and joy.
All three of them are overpaid and have their heads so far up their own backsides they probably do even know what day it is!
I have heard Clarkson's response today on the radio "just going down the job centre" just sums up the total arrogance of this t**t!
