Inevitable really, you don't see rubber snow ploughs as a rule.;)

Well, at least it hung on till I got home so I can give it a decent send off mate. Bin day tomorrow ;)=))

Tony.

It was our bin day today, I struggled both the brown (garden stuff) and the blue (recycling) bins through the snow down to the bottom of the drive and guess what...bin men didn't come, either of them:(

That's exactly what I'm expecting tomorrow Dave so I ain't going to bother.

Tony.

Sorry to hear that Dave.££££?:(

Tony.

It had a small split in it anyway and I don't know if it's done any damage plowing through the frozen snow but then I came into work through the gates a bit fast this morning and spun it, ended up going forwards into the only rock on a grass verge. Completely my fault :banghead: damaged some of the bumper as well I think, it needed repairing and painting anyway it's just give me an excuse now that I have to get it done. Should be repairable. If not a new splitter is just over £100, then paint. I'm an idiot!

is the climate changing under our eyes? seems yes...:(
too often we hear "never seen this in my life!" and it's so different from our childhood...:arghh:

My rubber one was only about £13 mate so I got off light.

I've been patiently waiting for some fatherly consolation Pete. =))=))

I've always liked the rubber ones but my Dad has one so don't want to copy him. I love the Rieger one and like the way it can be colour coded, it's a pain though as it's not as flexible and the front of mine is low so it's impractical really, although this one has lasted longer than I expected I suppose. I'll get this one repaired hopefully, if not I'll buy a new one and get the bumper painted. I do have a spare bumper which looks OK for now, the paint was flaking off this one in the mouth of it and it's cracked a lot more off it off now. Last time it was painted they didn't do a good job I don't think.

That's the good thing about yours, only costing £13 you probably don't mind as much, still a bummer though! And as for @gookah, I'm pretty sure he managed to shatter his splitter without evening driving his car

Ha,Ha. Nice one !

Tony.
