My Z3 goes in for its new body next week, here are some pictures of the strip down.
Thanks for tagging me Lee, Sir Percival has kindly let me buy the panels which will come in handy to replace some of my less than perfect ones.Really looking forward to this. About time too @Dino D
Sorry mate I thought this was your buildThanks for tagging me Lee, Sir Percival has kindly let me buy the panels which will come in handy to replace some of my less than perfect ones.
Unfortunately they won't fit in the Z so have to hire a van for the drive up instead
Very nice keep the pictures comingYep, its a DNA kit that transforms the car into a copy of the one in "Ferris Buellers day off" a 1961 SWB 250 Ferrari California
The one above, the second kit to be completed, just sold on ebay for 45K....admittedly it was very nicely done....but doesn't look like I will loose any money and have fun at the same time....a win/win as they say...makes a change with my luck!!
I have studied the stats and with the 2,8 that I have, even the performance is on a par with the original...so it definitely won't be "all show, and no go" as many kit cars are. I'm enjoying it very much and very excited....like a big kid really....my wife thinks I was deprived of toys as a child...I told her that I couldn't get any big toys into the coal shed with me anyway
