As you see it Mike but I kind of like think that you are sadly missing the point.
I do not p*** on peoples introduction threads.
I try to add my limited amount of technical knowledge.
I like to chat about F1 and other motor sports, aviation etc and not just Z's.
BMG and myself are good friends, believe it or not, we are only annoying each other, most of the time.
As for Bonzo, he has been warned before about posting crap on introduction threads and those warnings seem to have gone straight over his head.
Do you really think that Gaz and the mods want to waste their time policing the forum?
I get the idea that you have no idea of the amount of time spent on this (as Gaz said, free forum) by the people involved in running it.
You can give it a go if you like, be my guest.
As I posted on another thread, any more off topic posts on peoples introduction threads will be deleted without warning or explanation.

Mike, as you say, sadly we may be missing the point, but we don't see the need for any crap on here, your's, Bonzo's or anyones, gentle banter is one thing, insults are completely unacceptable. If you need to make a point to an individual, use the PM facility. Besides our jibe about you & Bonzo was meant in good humour and was quite mild in comparison.
No-one was criticizing your role as moderator or the amount of time you & Gaz put into the forum.
