I am thinking of replacing the tired badge on my bonnet, maybe with a black and white carbon effect one. I have measured the badge and it seems to be about 78mm. All the ones I have seen on eBay are either 74mm or 82mm. Does anyone know if the 82mm would fit. My Z3 is a 1999 2.8. it is possible the ones on it aren't the original ones. The badge on my boot also is 78mm.
 
The bonnet badge is bigger than the boot lid one on a Z3. It's the opposite way round on a Z4 though.
I fitted black and silver carbon badges all round on my Z3 and my Z4.

Thanks Tony, it's strange the ads say 82mm. I was being overly concerned about a 4mm difference. I measured mine on the car so could be a couple of mm out. I think black and white will go well with the silver and they are pretty cheap on eBay.
