can you believe that out here in Hong Kong, it is an offence for a car to tow a trailer without a permit & no permits have been issues for decades as the Government refuses to issue any ... I was told it was to stop caravan gypsy style living..

205 GTI was front wheel drive and the best handling car ever, so I am sure BMW will do it justice with all there know how

An interesting idea to have a Z2 with FWD and diesel engine.....disregarding the look of that new model, which in any case will never compete with the Z3 (!) it looks to me as a useless car! The roadster it's historically RWD and petrol; it's a car for fun and not for necessity.....why to mix things? A reenactment of Z3 could be done on the platform of Serie1, in the worst case......but diesel with FWD? Or do BMW needs to make a step back after the good choice of the last Z4 design? Who knows? It's still looks to me as a bad joke.....or 1st april joke

I believe I found the answer to the quiz "Why the Z2?"
The answer is : because of Us, people in love with Z3, the many clubs and forums eddicted to Z3! which right now is a very affordable and still reliable roadster!!!
Somebody from the marketing of BMW noticed that people like to have a nice roadster with a popular price!
While now there is only the MX5 on the market and because the Z4 has a very high price (and big engines, which by the way it's great), BMW want to pop out on the market a popular and affordable roadster........but why with FWD and small diesel? because is cheaper!
So, our dedication to Z3 will bring on the market the unhappy Z2!
am I right?
