Archived BM's on the Lawn Weston-Super-Mare 10th July

When I attended an event at Sherborne Castle earlier this year, I was given this flier.
Does anybody have any more information about this event as I am very interested in attending.

Last year was good as any event are with Z3 attending but the weather wasn't but hopefully this year will be different and the sun gods will be kind

The only poential issue is the weather, but that's exactly the same as any other event held outside - which is every event. It's rained a few times, but didn't really spoil the event too much.

The Western Region of the car club do an awesome job organising this each year. It's right on the promenade so you are 2 minutes from getting on the beach. Plenty of facilities nearby including the fun fair a short walk down the promenade.

Oh, and they get an exceptional turnout of all sorts of BMW's

No, I thought that was the Silverstone birthday event thing that someone on here organised.

I heard that people were so angry that they couldn't even get a cup of tea at Silverstone that they started doing donuts and then even broke into the track!

I went to this event last year and it was a great day out and not a bad turn out from the other forum members. Unfortunately as @GazHyde said the weather did not hold out all day and we had some heavy showers, but I do not think it spoiled the day. Great selection of BMW's and if you think yours is top class why not enter in the show & shine??. The only negative I found on the day, that some one entered a brand spanking new M4 into the Show & Shine and hey presto he won!!!

If there is going to be enough interest then I may attend again this year.
