Hi Paul. I have txd Pete about meeting you along the dual carriageway just after they come off the bridge. Asked him to let me know the time he expects to be along there.
Would that be the best place to meet for you? I could give you Peter's mobile number if that's best?
 
Meeting a friend in an Alpina Roadster at Gordano Services M5 Junc19 at 10am so should be at Weston 10:45 at the latest (depending on traffic)

I just shared with Gaz an app to help with people meeting up. I have used it a while now - its free. Called "Glympse"

It tracks real time ur position and u can share as a group. I havent used the group thing yet - but just had a play with it and its easy to set up ----- u can get it on Play Store and AppStore.
For the ones meeting up at Leigh Delamere - I can share u my number and set up a group live thingy :) If u know what i mean.
If its needed.
 
You could all use Waze, it's a really good satnav and if you add your friends it gives eta's etc. The traffic info is pretty accurate and I have been really impressed with the routing on it, better than any other satnav I have used, and it is free!

I use Waze too, very good App. Cj have a little play with Waze and see what you think. It uses facebook to link friends.
 
Hi Paul. Just had a reply from Pete BMW car club and told him you would like to meet up to drive down together. They expect to be coming off the bridge exit about
7 40ish. i suppose you could wait somewhere along the dual carriageway just after the bridge. Anyway he says its ok to give you his mobile so if things change
you can be in touch.

Lee just seen ur location is basingstoke lol same as me, but I will be deff going kingsclere and newbury, not reading way, its longer.
We could meet up before leaving basing. Start the convoy early.

Small world CJ. I live in Chineham just on the A33 I'm happy to drive eaither way. I was planning to leave around 8 if not before. I could always meet you in the laybay on the right just at the start of the A339?

In the short term, if you look to the right of your name on the menu bar there is an Envelope icon. Click this and then "start a new conversation", should be obvious from then ;)
 
Me an mrs M, may come down 200ml trip down , will confirm later , need to find a cheeeep b&b as I dont fancy doin 400 ml round trip ont m'way , any recomends ???

You might of started ,but get to Shrewsbury then Ludlow ,head for Leominster then chose Hereford or Gloucester both lovely drives vineyards villages and if you go Hereford head to the Severn bridge you get out free, rhos on Wye , Forest of Dean so many choices

May be an idea on the way back, looking to set off tomoz now about 6am an blast down m'way, Roof up!.....
A nice roof down scenic bimble back sounds good,
Ps may need a bit of help getting the flies off the front when we get there;)
