Archived Blow away the Cobwebs in Norfolk on 15th Jan 2017

Sorry, everyone, with all the goings on at Christmas, we completely forgot to change the thread to the 15th Jan, will adjust the first post to include a time and the list.

We're sorry that Dave & Pauline can't make the new date, we will make up for it when the weather warms up, Guys!

It's just a thought, but by arrangement with Sandringham Estate office, they will allow car clubs & the like to park up next to the Visitor centre. We did this with the BMWCC last year (2016) when we visited Sandringham. Contact is Nicky Coleman at Sandringham Estate office - they were very helpful & even put out signage to the parking area for the club.

That's very helpful to know, Thanks Richard, the EAC have been meeting on the verges there several times a year for five or six years now, but never having exceeded 15 cars, have not felt the need to let them know we were coming, although this time we did ring the visitor centre restaurant to ask if we needed to book a table for lunch, which as we now have a list of zedders, we may do that this afternoon.

Might be worth calling them as they parked us up adjacent to the visitor centre on hard ground - which may be a plus if it's raining or has rained. They didn't charge us for the privilege either! You can see a photo of the line up on our FB page BMW car Club GB Norfolk Branch.

Will see if that is possible, Richard, meanwhile I need to know for the numbers, when I book the table if you will have a co-pilot with you?

Thanks

Sandy

Hello Sandy

I think my wife Janet will be with me, so put us down for two please. Thanks.

If you are contacting Nicky Colman at Sandringham Estae office, the number is 01485 545408

Are you all taking your Zs :p

Not quite sure what car to take yet :p

We will most likely be in the Kuga as our garage door is dodgy and don't want to open it too much until we're ready to knock garage down. Also we are staying at my brother's on Saturday night and won't have much time to spare.

Yes we might be in the Merc :p

Thanks Richard, on the list and duly noted:).

Mike has had a look and the weather forecast is sunny, so we will be in the Zed, but when all's said and done, winter time can be dodgy, so Zeds would be good, but just folks will be fine!!! Will be a great get together as always!!

Hi Mike

Can you add Mr & Mrs Bonzo to the Sandringham list please? - I already know them & they have asked me to contact you. In fact it was Mr Bonzo who told me about this group & run out to Sandringham.
Thanks
Richard

@EnthuZiaZT ,Mike it's looking as though we're not going to be able to make it for the 15th now :meh:.
Sorry for any inconvenience and here's hoping for nice weather for the day.

Steve

Never mind @Bozzy :p
We will post photos of the day so you can see what we do ;)
