@Shelly In any holiday I would always recommend that you take time to see the country and the people rather than stay in the tourist resorts. Take advise and get a guide and then enjoy your holiday. We did and we will again.

Yes we always have a look around the islands where we stay
We get taxis and busses to different parts of the island
We also go for walks etc
No good just sitting in one spot

It's great to see the old ways that people used to live

@Shelly Agreed.... So far... Cyprus, Cuba, Thailand... plus all the normal ones like New York.. Now that I am working for myself though, it will be a while before I can get away to places like that again Euro cruise to sort next year.. Need to visit a lot of friends on here and on the Facebook pages.

@Shelly Indeed. I have loved staying in the Lake District and the Scottish Highlands too.. Amazing places. Keep a look out for the Euro travels... It will be a long weekend with Holland and then Northern Germany, maybe you will be coming along too ?
