Just got back from slimming world.

Saw a guy the spitting image of gaz! (Looked a geeky type!)

I did enquire if he drove a hairdressers car, but he didn't know what I meant so I informed him!

He laughed as he left the building.

Ha!

Gary, how much do you weigh? In a previous post, I said I worked heavy road construction while going through college. At nights I worked in a supermarket. I was really in good shape before this as a kid because I used to caddy at the golf course across the street from the house. The golf bags weighed as much as 40 pounds and you carried two of them. The course was 7 miles long but you walked twice that because the players were all over the place. When I was done, I often did it again, going out a second time (double looping it). During the time I worked construction (100 lb. jackhammer) and the supermarket, and school, I was burning a tremendous amount of energy and had to eat quite a bit to keep up. I majored in Finance and got a job working in a bank as a consumer credit rep. and then as a branch manager. The job was sit down, but I had kept the same eating habits. I soon started working for Caesars casino in Atlantic city. You work 8 hours. 1 hour dealing, 20 minutes break which you really need to get your head straight. 20 minutes in the dealer's lounge where the food was free. And not just any food, but many items brought down from the gourmet restaurants. For a short time, I left the casino and opened a fried chicken take out restaurant with fried shrimp, and BBQ pork ribs. Things didn't work out as I expected so I closed and went back to the casino. The week I started back, I weighed myself on the walk-on scale at the back loading dock and I was 350 pounds. I'm now down to about 200. No one calls me 'big Frank' anymore. I walk up to my car in the parking garage on the 10th floor and walk about 2 miles every day.

1. chubby chaser

A person of any sexuality who is attracted to another person who is overweight. Similar to chunky monkey.
Tom is a chubby chaser, he only really wants heavy women. Andy, also a chubby chaser, is only into overweight guys. His sister shares these desires, so they love to go checking out guys together.

Chubby chaser is what they call people who like big women.

I've been ribbed about this at work!

But I'm going for the right reasons.

Feel better already.

Mark it's all a con, all you need to do to lose weight is increase your metabolism by having a higher muscle ratio to fat, I.e. Do some exercise at least three times a week which includes resistance. Eat smaller portions of tastier food, I like steak my self and drink Gin and Slimline tonic if you like a tipple. I.e work out your fuel in and fuel burned, less fuel in and increased fuel burn, means your body will use your fat reserves.

But at the end of the day, we were meant to be fat, similar life style to bears in reality, feast and famine, and long lazy winters.

I like the slimming world food plan.

It has helped me maintain weight with exercise over the last 10 years or so.

This last year or so has been stressful but things are getting better.
