In the pretty village of Ashover , Derbyshire, this is organised by the same people (Rotary Club) who do the Renishaw Hall show with proceeds going to charity.

Car fixed OK Dom? Would be best to meet up to ensure we are all together, any ideas Ken?

Well as Dom is at Chesterfield and you are further north Paul, how about McDonalds at Chesterfield? I can easily nip up there to meet you.
 
Hi Chaps, How does that sound? Meet Chesterfield 9 am? I don't think we would need to book so we can wait and see how the weather is looking nearer the event , what do you think?
 
Hoping to have car repaired by then chaps depends on what I find when I open up the head just waiting for cam locking tool.

Hi Paul, Actually I was just about to post on this one. I don't think I'm going to go to Ashover,I've got too many things on the go at the moment.
MOT next week so I'll have to have a look at the car. It's just been sat in the garage since we got back from Wales and we did a lot of miles.
Plus sister's birthday,the garden etc,etc.
So next stop Zedfest!
 
Well if Doms not fixed his car looks like billy no mates, think i will just go for a drive. :(
 
Sorry about that Paul, but can't do everything and you're never 'Billy no mates' with a Z3!!! I'll see how I get on this week,weather permitting and just maybe I will be able to go to Ashover on Sunday. Let you know later this week. No other locals want to go ???
 
Just had a look on the Ashover web site, assumed it was the same as Renishaw turn up on the day, not so display cars must be booked and paid a minimum of 7 days in advance and be on site before 10 and not leave before 4. So not for me this year maybe next year with more attending and a bit of forward planning.
 
Well spotted there Paul, I was very doubtful for this anyway,but that confirms a 'no go' for me too! Ah well, see you at Ollerton for the Zedfest trip.:)
 
I am booked in if the rain stops today I will pop fluids into car and see what happens new gaskets, pipes inc plastics, seals, pump, oil and waterless coolant o and a de-coke. :-)
 
Weather not looking too promising for tomorrow Busy weekend next for the Silverstone Classic so both me and car should probably take a break.
 
My weekend off and the weathers miserable hoping for a break whole weekend free too :(
