Artic Silver 2.8 track car project

Survived another track day.

@Dino D did really well in his twin z3

Cooked the brakes as usual

Looks like you had fun

What a day! Glad I did it and had some company, also glad to have been in the group we were :racecar:

Talking of tyres....mine were doing well until the last session when I pushed them a bit too much. Decided to play a bit and switch of traction and was bit heavy handed in the turns. Tried to rub off the sidewall writing of the left hand tyres it seems!

Being smooth definitely pays off but will be getting track rubber as Lydden is obviously hard on them.

Ps how much fuel did you start / end the day on?
I used a full tank.

Looking good Andy:thumbsup:

Enough cosmetics, finally replaced a few essentials and a couple of semi-essential items on the zed.

Old pads and front/rear ARB linkages

just needs a good test drive!

You need to stop tinkering I don't want you guys leaving me behind on track!

Send us them old pads Andy, I could get a couple of months out of them ............ ;)=))

Tony.

I like the ‘long life’ marking on those pads... does that mean they’ll last more than a morning at Lydden =))

the roll bar should help out a lot. And the colour will make it faster for sure.

@Lee apparently those M54’s have 40bhp more than our knackered old 2.8 so we need all the help we can get:whistle:

That’s actually plenty meat. Last time I was on track with Andy I came back with just backing plates left =))
