Out of curiosity, have you measured what is the avg. air temperature that you are running after 30 min. of normal highway driving? And another thing, how do you rotate the trumpet, did you have to brake off any plastic?

I can't remember the figures, but it was something like 60°C before the cooling modifications and 40°C after.

There is another thread somewhere that shows how I insulated the plenum and kept the air cool.

Re the trumpet. I don't think that I had to break anything to twist the trumpet.

Yeah, I run the same more or less around 55C traffic and 37C highway, so it sounds great if I can manage to cool the intake by +10C! I will try to find your other thread. And I think changing the trumpet sounds like an easy thing without ruining the stock airbox.
