And yet you had $ for the 325i, hmmmm! lol Glad to see you ordered the tan top, I think our colour looks classier without the black. Still looking for a better deal on a green top to go with my green leather, but if not will go beige or tan. JIM

Before you jump to any conclusions, I want you to stop and think of the timeline. The Z had to wait 14 months. Yes, I recently purchased the 325ci last week. But I also, at that same time, was able to take care of the car insurance and now purchase the top. I don't feel I should have to explain this to anyone but my daily ride is now 20 years old, 15 of which it belonged to me. It has considerable rust on it and I am worried about how much longer I can use it. I spent several months looking around for something reasonably priced yet pleasant to drive. If you look at other cars of the same year, most go for $2800. to $5500. By being diligent and practical, I was able to get this for $1000. Don't you think that if I could have, I would have put this (Z3) on the road much sooner? Don't you think that I was dying to get in it and drive it? Do you think that I had more serious obligations I had to meet first before I could allow myself to be a little indulgent? While there might be things that I could ask you about, I realize that as an adult, you take care of the obligations you must meet first. Please allow me the same consideration. Thank you, Jim. Frankie

Read, missing BaAaAabs! You never forget your first Frankie!! JIM
No, its what I said, I miss Wales because I was thinking of my friend, Hugh. He was the first of the forum to invite me there and extent his hospitality and treated me like a long time friend. He took me all over the countryside on tour at his expense. I can't forget something like that. I truly wish you would have been there with me to experience that. Then you would have the same memories I have. Frankie

Sorry if you found that offensive Frankie, but I did add the lol at the end! I will refrain from making comment to your posts in future. JIM
