If it's ok, I would like one of you to point out anything obvious I should get the dealer to fix on warranty, that I may not know that is wrong on my M? I can't do much due to my back problems, but I am always keen to learn more about my car and car in general.
Sadly my only useful skills are to do with computers (both Apple Mac/Windows) , so if people have laptops etc they want me sort out, be it service, update, put software on etc, I would be happy to do that. Also, when I was working full time in IT for both the NHS and then Oxford City Council, I would often help teach people how to use software and more advanced computer skills, so this is something I can sit down with people and help them learn the things that to me are "easy", as bar the physical problems I have with working on cars, I do find them so daunting.
My dad before he started getting too old for the job, use to be a mobile car valeter/detailer for over 20 years. There are a lot of things he can teach/advice when it comes to getting a car to a concourse level. There is a thread on PH about E46 M3's and a friend of the guy who bought dad's E46 M3 Cab earlier this year, said it was possibly the best E46 M3 he had ever driven, Coupe or Cab, manual or SMG. He was actually very open about just how well sorted dads car was, so it was really nice for me to see, as it proved I don't just have rose tinted lenses on, when it comes to my old man
