I just don’t trust them… I can’t physically pull them off but under heat and pressure I just wouldn’t trust them to stay on.

I completely agree. I’ll order a pair of original hoses with spring clips.

back to oem.. we’ll apart from it’s a alloy housing. The new fan clutch should arrive Monday then I can run it and bleed the system. *mental note to self refill with coolant and oil before running
