Never used a clay bar before so a learning curve for me today. I eventually got the whole car clayed and waxed, and the results look good to me.

Never seen so many photos of your car mate, that grey has always been my favourite on the Z4 (love it on the Nissan 350Z too with gold calipers), on your the blue calipers set it off so well. Surely you should have blue stuff pads instead of yellow though!
