As Pingu has said I would be keen to get the donor car myself. Get someone to give it the once over and then let CCW do their thing. They would be happy to send pics once panels off but you could check out suspension components before. When I built my Kobra i had the coil overs, bushes new discs and pads replaced before starting the kit build.
I did build mine before CCW offered their service though (under supervision). The work to convert is not Very Hard but needs attention to detail and blooming time consuming. Especially at the last stages. They say the last 10% takes 90% of the time. It felt like that with mine.
