I'll post some pics of my old Merc interior when I get home at the weekend if I remember. It's done 132k miles and you wouldn't think anyone has been in it.
Look forward to that, saw an old 60's Merc on the road today looking the business.

I have some good childhood memories in a Zodiac and Zepher I suppose it was seeing all those fun tailed American cars that looked the bees knees when I was a kid and grandad had the next best thing in style
My brother once had a 375 Low line Consul in Maroon, what a car that was. Smoked my first fag sat in the middle of the front bench seat.

My colleague has a Mk1 Zodiac owned from brand new along with a mk1 Transit also owned from new, both in regular use.
We put both Zodiacs side by side for comparison, I think a years difference in age between them.
Here she is in all her glory, and interior isn't beige, it's light tan

This is my other Merc that I had to sell when I was made redundant. It's a 300ce affectionally known as Big Dick. It broke my heart when he went, but circumstances dictated I couldn't keep him. I sold him to a guy in Kent who came to Truro to pick him up.
Last time I looked he was on SORN.
