I mirror @t-tony sentiments. Life as it should be in 2015! And you had the pleasure of our resident travel reporter Hugh earlier in the year too! And your coming on the Dutch cruise yes??

OK - Maybe time I should properly introduce myself shed some light here too.

1. Met my wife, Gail (known to many of you) in 1978 when a group of us were playing table football - I recall she attacked my mate Andy. I didn't learn

This is how I can frequently be seen.

2. I worked for 25 years in Telecommunications, starting out as a Software engineer. I moved onto Public Phone networks (carrying millions of calls per hour) and, as account manager for all the major ISPs during the early period of the internet when everything was dial up (remember that?), I had 250,000 phone lines installed in 12 months and also signed a £4m contract for a single circuit to the USA while never meeting the guy who bought it. Interesting times.

3. I now work in broadcast for the company that owns and operates the tallest freestanding building in Europe, yet nobody lives or works in it full time. I've been up to 865 feet to the gallery in the photo. Its a great view although the lift it is a nine minute bone-shaker of a ride to the top and back, with special instruction on how to escape if the lift stops. It takes an hour usually to climb down the ladder. The trap door in the floor at 865 feet gives you something to think about. The white dots are sheep.

I also had a photo printed for the wall in the restaurant - Its 3m high and 12m long. Here it is going up, and then down, and up again, .... 3 attempts at £4k a shot - Oops.

It is time I made my contribution.
1. I left school at 15 and joined the RAF as an apprentice, I did 14 years decide I had had enough of working on aeroplanes and left.
2. After about a year I decided that I was wrong and returned to aviation with Dan-Air.
3. I have always loved Motor sports and belonged to the Farnborough district motor club where I enjoyed autotests, spriints and trials.
In later years I was able to achieve one of my greatest ambition and get a pilots licence but have had to stop flying lately as the aeroplane Which I used is no longer available.

This was one of my best experiences.

1. My interests are ice hockey, cricket, motorbikes and photography
Between us me and my other half share three of those four interests. He's the photographer, I'm the major cricket fan and we both follow ice hockey....Coventry Blaze....they're having a rubbish season though.

Even though she was happy to be caught by me, she can not smile, generic thing. Kept her wet
and slipped her off through the back door ;)
