Had my Zed for three weeks now and absolutely love it!
Have done more cleaning and polishing in this time than I have done all my life.
Trouble is I notice all the little scratches....only minor but they screaming at me. No one else would even see them.
Any advice on sorting them out please?
Absolute novice!

It looks great in the photo, but I know what you mean, sort out all the small scratches and you'll find something else to do your head in. You've got to remember it at least 13 years old, I'm the same with mine which is 18 now, and I treat it better than my 4 year old 320d, weird isn't it:bashhead:

I use auto glym polish on mine which also has some minor scratches and i was realy impressed as it makes these little scratches and marks disappear but only temporary so you have to polish it on a regular basis but i don't mind that, cus its worth the effort. Your Z looks good in the pic.

I use Turtle Wax colour magic regularly it does blend in feint scratches and makes the overall car look good. The purists may say it's the wrong stuff but my car isn't perfect and never will be again because I use it. I make it look as good as it can within my budget.

Hi Tony, as I said earlier, these cars are getting on a bit now, anyone striving for perfection will be eating into the time they could be spending driving it. Got to to be a balance. I know that I smile more driving it than when I'm washing or polishing it.;)

Absolutely Tec me too, but having said that, after a day cleaning and polishing they do seem to go so much better don't they? When it's clean I like to have a steady ish drive round some nice local roads with the dash cam running to get some footage ready for the winter months to keep me going till summer comes back !!:)

As Althulas says. Best and only way in my opinion is to machine polish the scratches out. Either a DA or a Rotary polisher and some cutting compound and then a decent polish will bring it up like new

Car looks great in the pic except for those huge blemishes and scratches that jump right out!! lol try the DA or rotary but get in while the sun's shining and go for a drive. Right now my car is getting a two day wash job thanks to Mother Nature. She can be so vindictive on the weekends! Enjoy! JIM

Haha! I to treat my Zed better than my daily driver. Zed gets the carport and saab on the drive. Zed cost me £2500 plus paint etc, saab cost me £11000. Weird is a good word! Er back on topic.....swirl marks are awful, my paint is 18 months old and I have loads already! Where's valeting goddy guru @M666BMG when you need him!

True, mine is that sort of colour that doesn't show swirls, but I know the buggers are there. As @Althulas said a machine polisher would do the trick.

Couldn't afford to get a new one?? had to buy one that's been lying around, probably in a basement, that obviously no one else wanted. Must have been discounted considerably!! JIM
