Better condition of the car means higher value.

Wether you want to sell or not.

The M cars are getting quite rare and should be preserved,
Really can't understand why .Keep yours mint it'll be worth a fortune,I'm happy to say I've taken 2mm off my tyres and I've only done 5 miles this week.if mine ends up in the big scrap heap in the sky before me I'll be happy,,and had my money's worth out of it.never bought it for an investment just the pleasure of driving.but each to their own good luck with the polishing :)

Saw this exact car for sale in Devon around 12 months ago for £11495. That's been a good investment. I wasn't sure about the bright yellow inserts around the interior! Were they standard or are they add one/ accessories. My blue M Roadster doesn't have them in blue!

Why people buy a car and keep it in the box figuring it keeps up the value but gives them no satisfaction of using it are not car enthusiasts but an investor only. I agree with @miller1098 completely drive the wheels off you may be dead tomorrow. JIM

Looking at these, I think they were add on DIY items.

I think it's safe to say that we all get different things out of ownership. If I had the money then I would have bought this car and made it my daily driver 365 days a year. I have little regard for how much the car *might* be worth in the future, just how much enjoyment it gives me right now.

But for those who want to try and make some money from them? Go for it, but the only way you are going to realise that increase in worth is to sell it - and then it's only worth what the next person is willing to pay for it.

Mark, it's yours, you can polish as hard as you like mate. Personally I think a few mint cars should be kept that way but the rest should be ragged to death. ( In Wales )

Tony.
