Wanted Z4 driver airbag

Have you managed to get the wheel to fit to your zed 3 as its not a straight swap.
Also what year is your zed 3 if its before 1999 and a pre face-lift it will have single stage air bag and compatible module later zed 3 have multi stage bag.

Its a 2000 facelift Z3, has the dual stage M steering wheel Airbag and recently modded it using an E39 7 cable slip ring to give illumination to steering wheel buttons
The Z4 steering wheel conversion is easy as long as you can find someone to machine the back where the slipring has to be bolted.

Bag should be compatible then .
Yeah i know the z4 wheel can be modded to fit ( wasn't sure what involved) funny thing is a lot complain about the z3 wheel being too big but you don't see a lot of conversions really getting done on here.
